I'm Catherine Flynn — a BACP accredited counsellor and EMDR therapist based in South Bristol. I specialise exclusively in working with neurodivergent adults: autistic people, those who are ADHD, AuDHD, and those who are exploring whether they might be.

I'm late diagnosed autistic myself. My family are a mixture of autistic, ADHD and AuDHD. This isn't just my professional specialism — it's my daily life. Which means when you sit down with me, you're not explaining yourself to someone who has read about your experience in a textbook. You're talking to someone who understands it from the inside.

I've spent years wondering why I struggled in ways other people didn't seem to. Finding out I was autistic didn't just explain things — it changed everything. It's that experience of finally understanding your own mind that I want to help you find too.

Our family structures life to work best for our neurodivergent brains. For me that means protecting time for the things that genuinely restore me — art, crochet, board games, documentaries, reading, and writing about neurodivergence on Substack.

You'll usually find me learning something new while spending time with my boys and our cats. I'm from the seaside in South Wales and have a great love of the edge of the land.
